Fun dog show to aid greyhound charity

A fun dog show, in aid of the Retired Greyhound Trust, will be held at the Animal Health Trust at Kentford on Sunday. The show opens at 8.30am and judging starts at 10.3am. Entry to classes is £2.

10 YEARS AGO: Journal, may 15, 2003 - Massive changes are being planned to the road system in the centre of Newmarket which will mean seven extra sets of traffic lights at the clock tower in Fordham Road and in Fred Archer Way. Proposals have been put forward by Suffolk County Council and include replacing the clock tower roundabout with traffic signals and closing Exeter Road to through traffic. Other traffic lights are planned at the junctions of Exeter Road with Fred Archer Way, Fred Archer Way and Fordham Road and at the entrance to the planned new Waitrose store in Fred Archer Way.
